JOB FUNCTIONS:
Softline Regional Services team is seeking for an Azure Solutions Architect with expertise in the Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure competency. This person will be comfortable architecting solutions around different workloads for Azure and Infrastructure. You will lead clients through technical and pre-sales discussions to help them find the right solutions for their organization. This person is also responsible in the delivery of the all of the azure implementations and deployments.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Establish and maintain subject matter expertise in cloud-based application development
• Maintain awareness of current cloud computing market trends and cloud market insights
• Serve as a trusted technical and business advisor to ecosystem partners
• Lead envisioning, Architecture Design Session (ADS) and Proof of Concept (POC) workshops
• Define architectures and deployment strategies to launch existing or new workloads in Azure
• Lead partner technical on-boarding efforts and ensure partner enablement plan execution
• Document and share technical best practices
• Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends
• Deep technical experience in several of the following Azure services and technologies: App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Fabric, Service Fabric Mesh, Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, etc.), Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Cognitive Services, Azure DevOps, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, Open Source Software languages (Java, Node.js, PHP, etc.), C#, .NET
• Expertise with serverless, microservices, and other modern application architectures
• Partner experience and understanding of partner business drivers and business models plus demonstrated skill building deep technical relationships with executives and technical leads within customer or partner organizations
• Able to set and lead the technical vision while balancing business drivers and imperatives to help partners build profitable Azure/cloud businesses
• Ability to build technical and business credibility with senior executives and grow mind share with highly strategic customers and partners
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related degree preferred
• 5+ years’ experience designing, implementing, and deploying distributed or cloud-based applications demonstrating architectural skills needed to ensure availability and scalability
• 5+ years’ success in consulting or technical sales roles, managing multiple stakeholder relationships, generating consensus on decisions, and driving next steps
• Experience leveraging Agile, SCRUM, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), or DevOps with one or more of the following environments: Azure, Amazon, or Google cloud
• Experience leveraging one or more of the following languages: .NET, C#, Java, Node.js, or other modern development languages
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and proactive collaboration capabilities
• Ability to demonstrate technical thought leadership in customer-facing situations
• Ability to present with a high degree of comfort to both small and large audiences
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic changing environment and drive clarity out of ambiguity
• Ability to connect technology with measurable business value
• Ability to travel between 20-30%
