This job will provide services and capabilities for the wider technology organisation to effectively deliver and operate the software, powering the multibillion-dollar business and also changing the way we live.

About the Cloud Platform Manager Role:
In this critical role you will be responsible for supporting all the activities related to cloud, starting from VM/Docker/container creation, storage add-up, network configuration, technical issues, system environment development. This is a very challenging and highly rewarding position, one which allows the job holder to have very tangible, immediate and large-scale impact. This is a unique opportunity to enact both technological and cultural change.

Key Responsibilities:

- Building the vision and an amazing cloud platform engineering organisation to support cloud hosting, focusing on DevOps concepts CI/CD
- Building long-term relationships at all levels with stakeholders
- Ensuring integration of your team with other teams across tech. You will be in charge of building cloud operations capability
- Provide a cloud centre of excellence promoting the adoption of best practice in relation to high availability and resilience
- Provides regular reporting of operational performance to partners
- Measure success of objectives and report on progress, team performance and business impact

- Passionate about best-in-class engineering, resiliency and performance of technical solutions
- History of building and leading successful software and/or infrastructure engineering organisations, preferably within the platform and operations space
- People-centric, and take pride in getting the very best out of everyone working within your organisation and collaborating with other teams
- Confident written and verbal communicator, and can convey clearly
- Comfortable leading multiple complex, and/or unique projects and work-streams across teams within your organisation
- Build meaningful relationships that help you to successfully navigate and influence across organisational boundaries
- Sell strategic vision and direction to your team
- Data driven and believe on measuring and continuous improvement approach
- Focused on continually evolving towards faster cycles, pushing business impacting functionality to market quicker
- Deep understanding of both service management principles and Agile delivery methodologies
- Infectious passion for technology and are continually considering how the latest trends and developments can be applied to your domain.
- Experience with System Administration with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) and/or Microsoft Windows Server and associated technologies (Active Directory, Exchange) & provide automated deployment solution with strong network and learning attitude.
- At least five years of experience with one of the cloud services, like Google Cloud Platform/ Microsoft Azure/Amazon Web Services/Alibaba Services.
- Good experience with Continuous Integration technology (e.g. Chef, Puppet, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Nginx, Maven, Git, Tomcat, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Zabbix, ELK, Kafka, or related tools. Experience with maintain MySQL/Redis database.
