About The Role
Role Location: Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam
Role Type: Permanent, Full Time role
As the Client Onboarding & Documentation Officer, you will be responsible for-
• Ensuring a high level of customer service and efficient processing of onboarding new and existing customers, static setup in systems, other products such as deposit, audit/balance confirmation, cash collection settlement with alliance banks, VAT issuance, cheque book issuance within the SLA and in line with bank policies, procedures and local regulations
• Process onboarding, account opening and maintenance for Institutional customers by checking application, legal documentations, KYC/AML and performing static set up in Siebel/Iknow, BeamNet and other related systems (GCP, LAPS, TDPA…)
• Perform the process of period and KYC trigger review
• Process other products/activities in Client Enablement function such as deposit new placement, deposit rollover, deposit settlement, audit/balance confirmation, VAT issuance, cash collection, cheque book issuance…
• Follow up pending documents and deviation items
• Provide timely, friendly and responsive service to both internal & external customers using excellent customer service skills. Refer or esclate to higher/senior level for complicated cases that required justification for driving solution to customer.
• Retrieve and provide required information to support customer’s inquiry or ad-hoc requirement from local authorities
• Investigate a specific transaction to support inquiry or ad-hoc requirement from local authorities
• Investigate outstanding entries in suspense accounts/ Nostro books to ensure that related transactions are processed properly and pending items are attended timely.
• Make data and reports according to internal requirements and regulatory requirement.
• Other tasks assigned by line manager

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following -
• Proven experience in banking operations and onboarding processing or similar onboarding functions
• Good knowledge and understanding of banking products, services, procedures, policies and relevant local regulations regarding onboarding function and relevant products
• Established time management skill and workload management to ensure daily work can be managed within the timeframe
• Keen attention to details and strong customer focus
• Ability to communicate well with all levels of management and staff, demonstrate good computer skills and ability to grasp technical concepts.
