Chief Engineer

Chief Engineer The role of the Chief Engineer is responsible for all operations and maintenance that has to do with any and all engineering equipment throughout the factory. The Chief Engineer has direct and indirect supervisory authority over the Work of the engine crew.
Chief Engineer’s duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• The primary function of the Chief Engineer is to ensure the safe and efficient operation and proper maintenance of plant and equipment;
• Plan and log of working hours for the engine crew and the organisation of the on-board safety training programme for emergency in close co-operation with the training staff;
• Be responsible for the maintenance of technical operation records and files, all fixed and portable fire-fighting equipment also;
• Coordinate with local sub-contractors; suppliers, consultants during company business;
• Control Site Manpower & Sub contractor at site as requested;
• Guide and support for necessary management for Safety and Environmental subjects;
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering or Relevant Degree;
• English fluent in both writing and conversation;
• Computer: Excellent skills in Auto CAD 2D, Excel, power point and other MS software;
• At least 5 years of experience for engineer position;
• Proactive and initiative personality;
• Self-motivated, disciplines, performance driven and able to work in a team or independently;
• Good time management skill;
• Available for call outs, emergencies or shutdowns;
• Maturity and confidence.
