Chief Accountant

* Job Description:
The chief accountant is responsible for the accounting matters of the company to ensure that the Company’s financial resources are managed in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standard and comply with all relevant laws. Working directly with local tax authority, checking and reporting all the issues to Country Manager.

The position is also responsible for all reports to the regional Financial Controller in Singapore. This position doesn’t have any subbordinates, and is in charge of both Accounting and HR functions of the Company.
- Monitor and manage cash on hand, AR, AP and other balances on balance sheets. Make payment via ANZ online banking system.
- Record journal entries into MYOB accounting system, prepare monhtly financial statements and business performance reports. Prepare group reporting package on HFM system.
- Control and distribute all tax declarations (VAT and PIT), other required reports are submitted accurately and on time to the local authorities.
- In charge of invoicing for payments, coordinating with the bank to open Performance guarantee.
- In charge payroll calculation.
- Maintain the company in continuous compliance with all tax and social insurance regulations including staying up to date on new laws, circulars, policies and tax.
- Be responsible for management and accounting for the fixed assets of the company
- Prepare budget and forecast as well as the analysis reports, financial statements
- Maximize cash flow by checking the sources of debt, incomes and expenses

* Knowledge Skills
• University Degree or above in Accounting or Finance with 3-5 years of working experience in the related field. Certified Chief Accountant qualifications plus 3 years or more with Audit experience (is added advantage).
• Experience and knowledge of Finance, Tax accounting
• Good understanding of Vietnamese Accounting System and Vietnamese Law
• Knowledgeable in Excel, Words, Power Point and other software related accounting work
• Fluent in spoken and written English (all reports must be performed in both languages: Vietnamese and English)
• Good communication skills, especially with local authority and other relevant departments
• Detailed oriented, analytical and possesses a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a team and team management, flexibility and ability to work in different environment and under pressure
