Chief Accountant

TAN CANG - OOCL LOGISTICS COMPANY LIMITED is a newly-established joint-venture company between OOCL LOGISTICS (HONG KONG) LIMITED & TAN CANG OVERLAND TRANSPORT JSC with our main business activities: Service of depots and warehouse; stevedoring goods, containers stevedoring services, excluding services provided at airports; Service of maintenance and repairs of machines, equipment; goods transportation by road; goods transport services agent. We are on demand for some key positions for current business operation and further expanding our business cooperation and partnership in Vietnam market and now seeking the initiative and energetic person to join our dynamic team to grow with us for the position of Chief Accountant at Ho Chi Minh office.

• Chief Accountant tasks including:
• Prepares VAT, Company Tax Returns and Statutory Accounts for the entity as prescribed by the local authority.
• Maintaining the company accounting systems.
• Manage the Month End Close off processes.
• Coordinate the annual audit activities.
• Monitor, act upon and report cash flow / banking activities.
• Conduct and maintains the Capital Expenditure Approval process.
• Assists in the preparation of Annual Budgets (including Cash Flow Budget)
• Review expenses and conduct analysis of operating expenses and budget variances as required.
• Recommend process improvements and participates in process improvement projects as required.
• Updating tax law, tax circular if change.
• Other related accounting and finance jobs and report directly to Director.

1. Bachelor Degree holder major in Accounting and finance and Chief Accountant Certificate.
2. Good command of written / spoken English language capability will be an advantage.
3. Proficiency in computer literate, such as Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
4. Good communication skill, customer focused, achievement driven, teamwork and able to work under pressure.
5. 3-year experience in depot business, shipping and/or logistics related field is a priority.
6. Prefer candidates in District 2; 9 and 7.
