Chief Accountant

• Handle full spectrum of accounting role eg. AR, AP, GL…
• Review & approve payment vouchers & journal entries
• Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
• Ensure that intercompany cost allocations are in line with intercompany agreements and transfer pricing policy
• Responsible for timely month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing and submission
• Responsible for day to day accounts operations and provide guidance as well as manage staffs
• Coordinate with External auditor to prepare Audit Financial Statement and CIT
• Responsible for Internal audit for both FCPA & SOX
• Prepare tax declaration for VAT, PIT, CIT and Withholding tax
• Prepare cash flow forecast by monthly/quarterly.
• Prepare local reports to the authorities (Statistic department, DOIT…)
• Deal with tax department and related governmental authorities regarding to all tax matters.
• Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies.
• Ensures that appropriate financial processes and systems are in place in accordance
• Ensures the preparation and distribution of timely and accurate operating/financial statements to both internal management and external users.
• Contact the bank about all issues related to deposit, payment and borrowing
• Be familiar with both US GAAP and Vietnamese Law/Regulations;
• Other duties as being assigned by Regional Manager - Accounting and/or Finance Controller

- University degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant fields.
- Chief Accountant certificate
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience (preferable in Retails), experience to manage the team with 2-3 members.
- Accounting/USGAAP knowledge, SAP Knowledge/experiences
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Familiar with closing process
- Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Committed to learning new things, taking ownership and getting things done
- Comfortable working in a cross-functional, managing multiple sometimes competing, priorities
- Ability to analyze financials, dive deep into data sets
- Trusted, detailed, careful, logical thinking, opened mind
- Good in time management & multiple task management & committed to the deadline even tight deadline
- Good in both Vietnamese and English communication
- Good leadership skill and well manage the accounting team
