Chief Accountant

1. General Purpose & Scope of the Job Position:

- Direct and monitor a variety of accounting activities to ensure that the organisation’s financial resources are managed in accordance with accounting principles and comply with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards.
- Review all financial reports and accounting statements to ensure they have been accurately prepared.

2. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

*Finance & Accounting
- Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements, included month/year end financial reports under Group and VAS. Review, maintenance and continuous improvement to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Prepare monthly rolling forecast cash flow and working capital management and improvements
- Control expenses and seek for improvement/saving
- Minimize financial risks with recommendations
- Assist Finance Controller in preparation of business plans, budgets and forecasts.
- Supervising staff

*Audits
- Work with external and internal auditors

*Taxes
- Review, validation on submission and ensure compliance with prevailing laws and submit on time of VAT/ CIT/ FCWT/ TP and other taxes
- Work with local tax authorities on all tax matters included tax finalizations, audits or inspections
- Prepare Transfer Price and relevant reports to submit to local authorities as required by laws
- Update tax and finance registrations/ circulars and impact once changes
- Ensure that all tax returns, tax declarations, and other required reports are submitted accurately and on time.

*Internal controls
- Participate in establishing the accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
- Coordinate with other departments and give advices to comply with local regulations and group procedures, policy
- Maintain and update master data in JDE system
- Preserve and store the accounting documents, confidential documents and accounting data of the Company.

*Others when required from time to time by Finance Controller.

1. Key Skills & Abilities

- Bachelor of Finance or Accounting
- Chief Accountant Certification
- At least 5 years working experiences in foreign finance corporate as Chief Accountant
- Master in JDE system
- An analytical mind
