Chief Accountant

***About the Chief Accountant role:
As a Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for areas of financial accounting & tax. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the financial accounting team to ensure work is properly allocated and completed in timely and accurate manner as well as in compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations & Group policy.
Responsibility for the financial management of local entities, ensuring completion of timely month end close, and reporting to local management

Key responsibilities:
- Monitor all accounting activities to ensure all transactions fully recorded in accordance with accounting principle, comply with tax, all relevant regulation, and Group policy.
- Be responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations, handle full spectrum of financial and accounting role eg. AR, AP, GL, Tax, etc.
- Ensure proper and accurate accounts reconciliation on a monthly basis;
- Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts, review all financial reports and accounting statements to ensure they have been accurately prepared
- Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up. Reviewing and implementing controls and procedures to enhance business operations
- Prepare internal management reports for weekly/monthly
- Perform cost tracking, monitoring and controls, work together with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives
- Be responsible Tax compliance & Internal/external Audit
- Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations in analyzing variances and cost analysis
- Coordinate and instruct all departments head to complete the plan/budget for the company by year
- Be familiar with Vietnamese Law and Regulations;
- Perform other duties given by Country Finance Manager.

*To succeed in this position you be strong at financial accounting, reporting and consolidation, good English communication and ability to work under pressure is strong advantages.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
- Candidate with experience working in trading, retail, wholesale is an advantage.
- At least 3 years at the same position
- Excellent Microsoft office skills, knowledge of ERP is plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with Vietnamese Law and Regulations,
- Strong in internal control, process and policy build up
- Hard working, honesty, self-responsibility
- Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross functionally including with non-financial teams
