Chief Accountant

Role:
To lead accounting team and responsible for providing effective accounting service to both internal and external sides.
Reporting:
Report directly to Head of Department

Take responsibility for managing and developing the proper accounting systems and control the processes to meet the expanding business activities of the company. Including:
• Building up accurate and timely reporting system of actual and forecasted costs in accordance with management team processes’ requirements;
• Responsible for and supervision of all transactional accounting processes in all activities of the company;
• Responsible for internal weekly/ monthly reports such as: Cash flows reports, P&L reports, Expenses reports and other management reports; Consult and advise the management team on additional reports.
• Review and enhance Control of project budget, manage and check all suggestions for payment; management of creditors and debtors of the company.
• Responsible for and supervision of statutory reporting, tax reporting and compliance for Profit, VAT and Income Taxes to Vietnam authorized agency in line with Vietnam Accounting Standards, and in accordance with accepted standards and regulations of MOF;
• Coordinating with other departments for relevant activities in the line with maximizing company benefits and profits;
• Create and maintains good relationships with Tax Authority; suppliers, free lancers and others partners.
Management
• Manage and cultivate the career development of team members
• Guide and ensure team members to follow company policy and regulations
• Other duties assigned by Managing Director.

Knowledge
• Good ability of financial reports analysis
• Knowledge of Vietnamese Tax regulations
Qualification
• University graduated in Finance & Accounting, with the certificate of Chief Accountant
English
• Good speaking and writing skills in both English and Vietnamese.
Experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Chief Accountant position
Skills and competencies
• Strong leadership skill
• Good experience in planning budget for Company
• Good organization skills and high sense of responsibility
• Be familiar with accounting software
• Well- organized, detail and accurate
