OBJECTIVES YOU NEED TO GET WITH THIS JOB

Act as the central point of accounting control within the company, occupying the statutory Chief Accountant position, and employ competency, responsibility and trust in discharging this duty

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Direct and monitor all accounting & cost activities to ensure that the company’s financial resources managed in accordance with Vietnam Accounting Standard and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

- Manage all accounting operations including Revenue, A/R, A/P, G/L, Cost Accounting and Revenue Recognition.

- Manage payments & accounting of expenditures the company & to ensure the payments properly are managed according to company policies & government regulation.

- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly operating expenses, costs, implement effective budgeting and control/optimize costs by analyzing/ forecast/advice..) for partners/other departments.

- Responsible for financial statements (including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and cost analysis report).

- Responsible for driving month end closing process (posting, submission and reporting) to ensure accounts are closed on time and accurate. Reconcile financial discrepancies between IFRS and VAS and recommend effective resolutions.

- Responsible for controlling all tax reports, other required reports are submitted accurately and on time.

- Handle both internal & external audits, tax authorities and other relevant parties.

- Coordinate with other departments for consolidating the annual budget, regular forecast, control cost to align/under budgeted.

- Identify and measure financial risks, establish and deploy policies, controls and mitigating actions, in order to achieve an optimal balance between risk and return.

- Check, give legal opinions, risk for payment term of the contracts by company going to sign.

- Lead and develop team ensure to fulfill competence for accounting operations and requirements.

- High responsibility, adapt with changes fast and work under high pressure

Working experience:

- 6+ years of experience in Chief Accountant position

- Technology, software, startup experience a plus

- Professional services experience a plus

- Technical skills requirement:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance

- Chief Accountant Certificate

- Chartered Accountant Qualification (CA, ACA,ACCA ICAEW, ICAS, CPA, ACCA)

- Excellent knowledge of Vietnamese tax and accounting law and statutory reporting required

- Solid proficiency with Microsoft office particularly Excel, Accounting systems/Software (Oracle, SAP, Misa, Xero etc)

- Analytical, Detail orientated, Completer Finisher

- IT system experience of Google BigQuery and other data analysis tools
