Cargo Operation Manager

- Planning, management, oversight and control of daily operations requirements related to Cargo Operations, ensuring excellent operational delivery and on-time performance by providing leadership and operational direction where required;
- Ensure the appropriate standards of safety and security are achieved in line with corporate requirements, government legislation;
- Conduct continual review and risk assessment processes on all SOPs and working practices to identify any unsafe practice areas for quality improvement;
- Develop professional relationships with internal and external parties to ensure effective cargo operations;
- Analyze regulations and pending legislation to identify potential impact on company activities and/or facilities and ensure that key information is provided to departments, locations and employees as appropriate;
- Manage the investigation and follow-up of issues, violations and irregularities, reporting findings to the appropriate management and facilitating the implementation of required corrective measures;
- Act as representative and primary contact to local, national and international regulatory agencies in matters involving regulatory compliance;
- Handle critical issues through liaison with station managers, airport authorities and internal departments to effectively deal with situations;
- Maintain effective communication with all external and internal stakeholders connected to the cargo operation, including Customer Service teams, to ensure effective operational delivery;
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of company operations, documentation, regulating authority requirements, relevant systems and procedures;
- Provide leadership via promoting of team spirit and team work and act as a role model, using your experience and technical expertise to achieve maximum performance and motivation;
- Other duties as assigned by Superior.

1. Education: University graduated
2. Experience: At least 5 years in Cargo Operation of GSA/Airlines and at least 3 years at management level
3: Skill and competencies:
- Knowledge of air cargo operations and IATA regulations is mandatory;
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills and the ability to lead and motivate other;
- Organized, process- oriented;
- Good sense of airfreight market situation;
- Excellent communication and building relationship;
- High motivated, disciplined and compliance;
- Excellent customer service mindset;
- Available to business trips, at short notice for extended periods of time, as is reasonably required by the company.
