Job Purpose
This position is responsible for proposing and executing marketing strategy and action plans to promote and support sales force and sales activities of the company. The role supports both Agency Distribution as well as Partnership Distribution.
Accountability
1. Planning and execution
- Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual business plan for the dept, aligned with Channel needs (AD/PD)
- Ensure adequate support for business to be able to meet their goals
- Delegate tasks and/or projects to suitable subordinates, Follow up by by monitoring progress and results and taking appropriate counter measures
- Foster effective teamwork.
2. Develop subordinates:
- Recruit talents for the Marketing team to successfully carry out marketing strategies and build future leaders for the business
- Take corrective action with subordinates when performance needs improvement, provide coaching and support when necessary.
- Empower individuals and teams
3. Relationships and Communications:
- Build effective relationships both within and outside the department, especially Distribution Management, AD, Bancassurance, LG, Product Marketing, DTD.
- Seek input from and maintain effective ongoing communication with others
- Manage conflicts to ensure least disruption to organization.
4. Behavior: Be a role model for subordinates.
Key responsibilities
- Provide support for marketing, sales and activation activity for Agency, Bancassurance and Lead Generation teams
- Devise and execute strategies and action plans to promote the professional image of Prudential’s sales force (agency, bancassurance, Lead Generation, worksite, etc.),
- Improve/enhance communication with sales force and instill their loyalty to the company
- Support Distribution management teams in all initiatives related to sales and promotions (e.g GPs, BOPs, booth sales, branch events, meetings, etc) and ensure the consistent image of Prudential throughout all these activities (i.e. signage, billboards, leaflets, name card, etc.)
- Work with support functions such as Training, Product Management, Operations team in ensuring effective strategies to promote Prudential’s products to sales force and customers
- Actively seek for opportunities to enhance benefits for customers and support sales force (e.g partnership with schools, banks, promotion programs with alliances etc.)
- Divide and lead campaigns for cross-sales, up-sell, portfolio actions etc.
- Any other tasks assigned

Qualification: BA in Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, Insurance, Banking
Experiences:
- At least 05 years of experience in marketing or related fields with at least 3 years in multi-national companies at supervisory level.
- Experience in business development with financial service companies will be an advantage.
Knowledge and skill set:
- Knowledge in advertising, marketing, PR, events;
- Knowledge in Life Insurance (desirable)
- Knowledge in customer promotion and business development preferred.
- Assertive and effective communication, negotiation presentation skills.
- Project & time management
- Vietnamese & English fluency is a must
- Strong presentation
- Strong leadership skill
