Buyer Specialist

Due to business expansion, we are inviting dynamic, self-motivated, caring and passionate individuals with a keen sense of responsibility and ethics to join our Vietnam team.

** Responsibilities
- The role will source materials, components, assemblies, manufacturing services and evaluate existing and potential suppliers
- The role will work cross functionally with Quality, Engineering, Service, Tactical Purchasing and Manufacturing to proactively improve supplier performance
- Provide commodity expertise and work in support of new product development projects
- The sourcing specialist will be tasked with performing detailed research and analysis of global commodity purchases, supply bases and other spend/ Capital data.
- Search for new suppliers, visit their facilities with the appropriate cross functional support and evaluate their potential.
- Help department manager to select/recommend new suppliers who are capable of meeting or exceeding appropriate performance objectives.

** Salary

• College/ Engineering degree holder at least.
• 2- 3 years’ experience in purchasing/ engineering in the Electronic Industry.
• Able to read & understand technical document in English is an advantage.
• English fluency, able to communicate clearly in cross function departments.
