Business Planning and Analysis Supervisor

Internal Job Grade: Supervisor
Division/Location: Finance Department – Ho Chi Minh City
Report to: Business Planning and Analysis Manager

• Performance Management:
• Support line manager in performance analysis (portfolio balances movement, pre-repayment, income and expense break-down, etc.)
• Prepare/ Monitor expense tracking against budget at Company level and department level
• Support relevant stakeholders in initiatives to improve expense efficiency

• Planning:
• Support line manager in developing annual expense budget, participate in the planning model every fiscal year, refresh quarterly forecast
• Prepare pre-closing P&L forecast

• Reporting / Portfolio Analysis:
• Support line manager in preparing quarterly / monthly managerial reports (closing packs, dashboard, MANCO, ALCO, BOD meeting materials, etc.)
• Develop and maintain profitability model by vintages, channels, products, segments, etc.
• Identify and recommend for process improvements

• Other tasks:
• Perform ad-hoc studies / reports
• Provide financial data for stakeholders’ decision making
• Lead ad-hoc projects of moderate scope as assigned
• Coach/ Train other junior team member

a. Qualification:
• University graduate major in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Statistics
• Hold relevant accounting/finance certifications is a plus

a. Working experience:
• At least 3 years experience in Finance, Planning and Analysis, Business Control
• Experience in delivering group financial/managerial reports
• Practical experience in a business-driven culture and multi-national corporations is an advantage

a. Knowledge:
• Familiar with accounting systems and processes
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Expertise in SAS, analysis tools is a plus
• Understanding of banking / consumer finance industry is an advantage

a. Skills:
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese
• Good financial and business acumen
• Ability to work under pressure, agile to changes
• Ability to work independently as well as a team player.
