Business Environment Officer

I. Environmental legislation & compliance
• Monitor compliance with all relevant legislative requirements.
• Ensure legislative alerts/amendments are communicated to relevant personel.
• Reduce cost associated with Environmental non compliance & incidents.
II. Report/ Metrics
• Implement all reports from HSE & Sustainability Group: Local Substainability Officer (CEO) report quarterly, Environment incident report, HSE group KPI, Country & BU HSE target.
III. EMS ISO 14001
• Ensure ISO 14001: 2015: Certified by third party.
IV. Procedures & processess
• Update, renew and maintain all environmental procedures& processes (13 procedures& new forms updated in 2017) in the environmental management system
V. Target & planning
• Establish the next year's environmental and energy target & action plan (connecting with variety departments in the planning and follow-up process)
• Follow, review& report the annual environmental action plan
VI. Communication
• Environmental Advisor for All related depts. within the company about all environmental issues: Production, facility. Warehouse, SCM, Sales & Mar (Meeting all requirement requested by customers through tender)
VII. Training
• Prepare and be trainer for Environment awareness within the company: Induction training for all new hires, Environment training for all ER (Environment Representative); contractor training.
• Organize environmental training course to in line with legal such as: Chemical management, Emergency response,..
• Ensure that the depts. have procedures in place and that they have a process in place to ensure that they conform to their procedures.
• Identify any organizational or procedure weakness and work with the relevant manager to remedy.
VIII. Audit
• Carry out internal & external environmental audits. Facilitate the close-out of non conformances from audits & investigations.
IX. Continous improvement
• Finding opportunities in improving Environment
X. Practical management
• Control scraps/waste sales process as process owner
• Guide & supervise all related processes
XI. Teamwork
• Manage all rountin practice implementation for Environment: Selection, contract, audit, supervise & be responsible for: 5 workers (1 operator, 2 Pan service workers), 6 rountin contractors with about 40 contract workers usually work at ABB including: Scrap contract worker: 20 persons; Normal waste+ Hazardous waste contract worker: 13 persons; Environment monitoring contract worker: 5 persons; Waste water treatment systems operation contract worker: 2 persons
XII. Co-ordinate on Safety
• Co-ordinate on Safety: Safety week (Road Safety, Safety Articles Inside View Quaterly)
XIII. Support Country Environment (other sites)
• Support other sites on Environment: BN, ĐN, HCM for country environment such as: LSO, Energy & Waster KPI, legal update.

• Đảm bảo các hoạt động quản lý môi trường được duy trì ổn định trong các bộ phận của nhà máy, mục tiêu không sự cố môi trường và claim từ các bên external có liên quan (pháp lý, khách hàng, dân cư,…)
• Cập nhật, phân phối và triển khai tuân thủ các Yêu cầu pháp luật về HSE.
• Tổng hợp, phân tích và thực hiên các báo cáo có liên quan của Pháp luật, Tập đoàn,..
• Duy trì và cải tiến liên tục Hệ thống quản lý môi trường ISO 14001:2015, Lead auditee khi có đánh giá bởi Auditor.
• Follow & Manage các KPI trong năm đồng thời xây dựng kế hoạch môi trường cho năm tới.
• Quản lý hoạt động kiểm soát chất thải: Rắn, lỏng, khí theo quy định. Quản lý nhóm môi trường và nhà thầu liên quan.
• Thực hiện điều tra và đưa ra các bp khắc phục, phòng ngừa khi có sự cố môi trường.

 University/ Institutions Preferred: Bachelor of Environmental management or engineering.
 At least 1-2 years experience in environment management in the factory.
 Good analytical skills and ability to summarize & report.
 Able to work independently & actively.
 Good in 4 skills of English (especially reading & writing)
 Good soft skills of excel, power point.
