Business Development/ Marketing & Communication (Bdmc) Officer

Job Description & Summary

PwC Vietnam is looking for an experienced Business Development/Marketing & Communication (BDMC) officer
to be based in Hanoi office. The role of a BDMC officer is to support in the development and implementation of
business growth initiatives that are in line with the firm’s objectives including: Profiling key points of views
through different marketing channels as well as sales pipeline and management information reporting,
cross-selling initiatives, client feedback process.
Roles and responsibilities
1. Profiling firm & services - Write succinct and impactful content to be used in various channels
including:
a. Media: draft press releases, op-ed articles, answer to media requests
b. Public speaking support: crafting PoVs & presentations for spokespeople & logistics support where
needed
c. Internal communications: promote events, TL, media contents with internal audience
2. Research & Knowledge management - Execute data-driven activities that will effectively
strengthen PwC Vietnam brand
a. Conduct client/sector research as part of market development or proposal facilitation;
b. Prepare presentation and/or reports for different communication channels (ie. external speaking
events, leadership meetings, business plan meetings etc);
c. Help drive content creation that will shape the market and position PwC as thought leaders in key
areas.
3. Marketing campaigns - Work closely with wider BDM&C team group on initiatives such as:
1. Digital channel management (external & internal): Monitor contents and basic templates via
available channels, contact database management and prepare related reports;
2. Event management: Monitor event communications, on-site support and report;
3. Support Branded merchandise, stock management and other admin tasks as needed.

Requirements:
● Background : Business degree majoring in Marketing, Economics and other relevant degrees.
● Experience : At least 1 year of experience in the field of marketing or business development or
similar role, with previous experience in a Big 4 prefered
● Desired skills:
○ Fluent written and spoken business English
○ Editorial experience is a strong asset
○ Ability to do research information and analyse basic financial data
○ High level of proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
○ Ability to multi-task and think strategically
○ Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to build relationships
○ Strong organisational skills and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
○ Strong writing and analytical skills
