Founded in 2007, Source of Asia is a company based in Vietnam, founded by two French entrepreneurs, specialising in International Business Development in Southeast Asia. SOA is now divided into 3 main departments: Sourcing, Incubation and Business Development to become a real gate to South East Asia.
It supports foreign companies in approaching the ASEAN market by offering consulting, legal, market research and implantation services.
We operate in Vietnam and in the ASEAN area generally speaking in order to answer to the increasing demand of foreign companies wishing to develop their activity in the most dynamic area in the world.
Now, SOA is hiring a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to support our growing activity and our client’s development in the region.

YOUR MISSION
This is a high responsibility and very stimulating position!
Support our clients entering new markets by giving them the keys, tools and understanding they need. This position requires someone dynamic, organized, self-motivated and entrepreneur in heart. You will be working mainly on the construction equipment sector but you might also work on other sectors of activities for all our “Market entry” clients (market study, partner’s prospection, opportunity research, analysis …) More precisely, here are the main tasks you will be working on:

 PROJECT MANAGEMENT
After the signature of a new market study or prospection mission by the management, the project will be handed to you for implementation. The projects management include:
- Definition of the action plan (research strategy and timeline) to realize the mission and discussion with manager for validation
- Market data collection
- Actors interviews to understand and collect on the field information
- Listing of actors in the requested field and qualification of them to select the best opportunities for our clients
- Cross checking and analysis of all collected information
- Good understanding of the market environment and challenges, have a business spirit to bring solution to clients
- Production of the final report and conclusion on the best course of action for our client to enter the market

 SALES REPRESENTATION
After the signature of a new sales representation mission by the management, the project will be handed to you for implementation. The projects management of a sales representation mission require from you to:
- Build, deploy and adjust a sales and a marketing & promotion strategy for the long term development of your client business
- Prospect new potential client and negotiate with them
- Follow-up and collaborate with the client local distributor/agent
- Communicate regularly with your client about operational matters and produce a detailed monthly report
- Build a network of prospects/ prescribers/ importers/ distributors in Vietnam with the sector of activity of your client

 NEW SERVICES DEVELOPMENT
As a growing company, we are always trying to improve our solutions and diversify our activity in under to provide even better services. At this position, you will be in the heart of activity and confronted to the reality of the market. Your input and initiative in terms of solutions to clients will be crucial:
- Offer new service as: industrial implantation, Joint venture negotiation, Promotions services (marketing, events …)
- Geographical coverage: support us enlarging our services to the region. Work in collaboration with our partners in neighbouring countries and help us evaluate their capacity and level of professionalism …
As a 12 persons team, we are working in total collaboration and are looking for someone to complete the team and bring its own value, energy and great ideas to continue growing at a fast pace !!

THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR IS:
- Already have experience in project management and multitasking
- Have an excellent personal organization and sense of priority
- Perfect English mandatory (speaking & writing)
- Business spirit and entrepreneurial mind !
- Commercial mind-set and great communication skills !
- Researched and analytical skills
- Proactive and autonomous !
- Good knowledge of pack office
- Experience in business development appreciated
- Experience in international company appreciated
- Open to business trips in the ASEAN area
- Previous experience in /particular interest for the construction equipment sector (plumbing, electricity etc.) is a plus

LOCATION: Based in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon, Vietnam
STARTING TIME: asap for a minimum of 1 year
