Job Title: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Based at: HCMC Head Office
Reports to: Inbound Department Head
I. Job Purpose
The Business Development Manager is responsible in planning, developing and implementing programs and experiences to promote Company’s leisure tours and services through aggressive sales & marketing initiatives.
II. Responsibility and Accountability
1. Technical Responsibility
The Business Development Manager will
- Develop and implement effective annual sales and marketing plans that maximizes market penetration and sales turnover
- Develop and maintain productive business relationship with potential and existing business partners
- Identify new and different business opportunities to drive sales and marketing efforts
- Identify customers’ travel needs and preferences, analyze and recommend opportunities to determine focus of sales and marketing efforts
- Develop and communicate via online, electronic and printed materials about trade news, Company’s products and services to its potential and existing business partners
2. Human Responsibility
- The Business Development Manager is assigned and supervised by Inbound Department Head
3. Relation and Direct Liaison
- The Business Development Manager acts as Company representative to the third parties in their own area of responsibilities.
- The Business Development Manager maintains good relationship and communication flow with Company internal and external clients.
4. Temporary Mission
- The Business Development Manager may be called upon to undertake activities other than their own area of responsibilities for specific projects or programs.

III. Qualification
- >2 years of relevant experience in a DMC, familiarity with travel products and services of Indochina region preferred
- Nonstop, out of the box thinking and initiative taking
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Having a clear understanding and appreciation for Vietnamese culture
- Bachelor degree in hospitality or business management preferred
- EU passport holders, native Spanish speaker preferred
