Business Development Manager (Energy/power Industry)

He/she needs to have network with relevant authority or government/ stakeholders, need to lead all development tasks, overseeing internal and external consultants for power plant development business (Gas power plant, LNG terminal, Solar power plant and so on).
Other duties are as follows;
. Appoint and manage consultants to ensure timeline for progress of projects;
. Managing external stakeholders and relationships to ensure market leading development processes are implemented.
. Provide regular reporting on development activity, project schedules, milestones, budgets and risk management;
. In conjunction with the technical manager, be the primary interface for EPC company during negotiation of the EPC contract (with external legal assistance).
. Lead strategic analysis and site selection to build, and continuously refine, a highly competitive portfolio;
. In conjunction with the Finance Manager, lead the commercial analysis of project returns and continuously focus on cost reduction initiatives;
. Manage formal technical due diligence process of more advanced projects as they move into the intense closing and financing phase;
. Ensure team, developers and consultants all conforming to best-practice OH&S standards;

- Vietnam Power plant industry development experience required (Senior : Min. 10 yearm Junior : Minimum 5 year)
- Close network and relationships with relevant stakeholders/government/authorities.
- Detailed experience of the Planning regime, regulations, Solar PPA requirements etc.
- Project Management experience, business development experience preferred.
- EPC contractor interface experience preferred.
- Willingness to travel regularly interstate.
