Business Development Manager (12 Months contract, Renewable)

We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our rapidly growing team in Vietnam. Our Business Development Manager (HCMC) will be responsible for developing new business opportunities across our software, sourcing, marketing and eCommerce businesses in southern Vietnam. You’ll be required to identify, contract and secure new clients for the Zilingo business. You will have responsibility to ensure Zilingo meets and exceeds its sales targets in Vietnam. Under this role, you’ll collaborate with staff working in Product, Marketing, Finance, Sourcing, and Logistics. As Business Development Manager you will report to our Head of Commercial for Vietnam and Cambodia who will also be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Responsibilities:
- Contact new potential clients and generate new business leads
- Meet and exceed sales targets for Zilingo’s software, clothing manufacturing, marketing and eCommerce businesses
- Developing quotes and proposals for new clients
- Increasing the value of current customers while introducing new ones
- Assist in the development of new products and services for the Vietnamese market
- Become a key evangelist of the product and participate in press activities, conferences etc.

- Minimum of 3+ years in target-based sales roles
- BA in Business Administration or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the Textile, Clothing or eCommerce sectors is preferred
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
- Confidence working in a fast-moving startup environment
- Intermediate English ability is required
