Business Development : Hotel Account Manager

You will be responsible for the account management of hotels in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar. You will be the preferred contact for the hotels in the area. You will gather the necessary information to determine the most suitable hotels to be on Begodi website & then convince them to be partner of Begodi. You will advise hotels about information on the Begodi website and provide them with the (initial) training on how to use Begodi system.
You create quantity (number of hotel availability) and quality (feedback from customers of the hotels) reports to Marketing Director to help improve hotel availability and supply and support Begodi in meeting the demands of the visitors on the begodi.com website.
This full-time position will be based in our Hanoi office.

Main Responsibilites
• Direct account management for hotels in the region: Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar.
• Visit the important hotels
• Support Begodi for hotel availability and for providing hotel information within the area
• Identify hotels in the region which could become Begodi partner
• Introduce/Promote the Begodi brand name and its online reservation services to hotels (clients and prospects)
• Liaison person for hotels (clients and prospects) to contact when they have questions
• Providing hotels with information and advice by mail and email, including follow-ups
• Follow up on cancellations and evaluations
• Accompany and train hotels on how to use Begodi extranet and rates & availability system
• Support hotels with regards to Begodi system
• Liaise with hotels on allotment, availability and marketing information
• You will also need to be versatile and adapt quickly to the latest guidelines from Begodi

• Business or Hospitality school background
• Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality industry in Asia (preferred South-East Asia)
• Fluent in English
• Pro-active, sense of responsibility, friendly and ability to work independently;
• Quick and resourceful, flexible, accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail;
• Great face-to-face and telephone communication skills;
• Team player, motivated and enjoys to work in e-travel and hospitality;
• Business focused
• Positive attitude
• Availability to travel up to 20% of the time
