Business Data Analyst

JOB OVERVIEW
- Lead and manage the company‘s business data modelling and analytical activities in order to provide insightful recommendations for management team to make more efficient decisions. The scope wide covers not only in sales, customer profile but also cost, people and other business areas;
- Job Level: Team Leader.

WHAT YOU‘LL DO
1. Data Modeling (30%)
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the data model across business areas (sales, customer profile, marketing, SCM, HR, Finance, Production…) – create, improve and automate visualizations and queries, and manage data transformation to enable analytics and reporting;
- Partner with broaders functions to improve cross-functional data quality efficiencies/effectiveness, development standards, and best practices

2. Business Analysis (50%)
- Deliver quantitative analyses and advanced modeling that diagnose root cause issues and translate data into actionable insights; specifically number of head count is needed according to number of active stores and soon opening stores;
- Document requirements and respond to requests related to across function data in a timely fashion with minimal guidance or oversight;
- Recommend to management and functional heads with specific and guided decision or actions to improve both the effectiveness (top-line) and efficiency (bottom-line) of the business;
- Perform analysis on ad hoc requests and projects.

3. Developing effective connection with other departments (20%)
- Connect and engage with other functions operations to understand their issues that need to be addressed via data modelling and analysis;
- Develop strong relationship with other function’s business users to support for his own daily work.

ARE YOU OUR "FIT"?!

1. Relevant working experiences
- 3+ years of experience in an analytical role using multiple data sources to create responsive visualizations and actionable insights;
- 5-7+ years of experience in both local and international companies operating in F&B industry or similar;

2. Educational Qualifications/ Relevant Technical Skills
- English: Advanced Level
- Totally Data Driven;
- Strong experience with Power BI, SQL and other data warehouse tools or other BI tools;
- Strong experience with Excel (e.g. modeling, formulas, Pivot Tables, Lookups, VBA);
- Experience with hypothesis-driven analysis of large data sets through statistical software;
- Experience with any of the following will be a plus:
+ The core technologies used internal to the AI & ML Platform include node.js, Express, vue.js, Redis, Postgres, BigQuery, Python, TensorFlow, containerized with Docker, deploy to Kubernetes on GCP or AWS will be a beneficial;
+ Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases;
+ Experience with CUDA libraries and debug utilities will be a beneficial;
+ DeepLearning4j or similar tools will be a beneficial;

3. Other requirement
- A strong sense of ownership and team responsibility;
- Agile (scrum and kanban) and strong know-how on software engineering;
- Hands on applied maths and statistics;
- Action oriented and highly focused on experimentations;
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills;
- Being independent, well-organized, pro-active, patient, highly responsible, showing integrity and willing to work under high pressure;
- Required to work with sizeable team;
- Understand and inspired by company culture, vision and mission;
- Strong interest in F&B industry.
