Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will support and report to the CEO/General Director regarding the development, oversight and operation of the company’s business data management and software platforms including AQUAMANAGER (aquaculture operations and costing), INNOVA (seafood processing), product and production forecasting, and financial reporting and analysis.
The Business Analyst will contribute to improving the knowledge and efficiency of the company’s operations by providing the CEO/General Director, senior managers and its global parent with operational reports, analysis, trend reporting and measurements against key performance indicators (KPIs). This position shall be responsible for improving production forecasting, cost analysis, yield management, trend analysis, financial and cost analysis, periodic internal and parent company reports, and the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust production management and analytical systems.
The Business Analyst will work closely with the Chief Accountant to ensure total integrity and consistency of production reporting with the Company’s financial statements.

I. Production Management Systems:

1. Works with CEO/General Director and other staff on the implementation, and usage of a production management system (AQUAMANAGER) that meets local and Global corporate standards.
2. Works with CEO/General Director and other processing team on the implementation, and usage of a processing management system (INNOVA) that meets local and Global corporate standards.
3. Provides regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis to the CEO/General Director, senior managers and Global management team on production results.

II. Analysis
1. Works closely with General Director and senior managers to monitor production trends related to cost, growth, feed utilization and other factors.
2. Together with Marine Operations Manager produces regular forecasts of expected harvest quantities
3. Produces regular reporting and trend analysis related to processing yield, throughput, etc.
4. Produces report that measures company performance against benchmarks and key performance indicators.
5. Together with General Director and Global CFO, manages the production of the annual budget and rolling forecasts
6. Provide analyses as needed, in particular for sales analysis, pricing, and other requirements

III. Compliance
Supports Chief Accountant with information requested for annual financial and tax audits.

IV. Information Technology
Responsible for technical management of the Company’s information technology platforms (accounting, production management, office technology).

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in math, computer science, accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience. 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience.
2. Strong Excel skills.
3. Knowledge of automated production management, financial and accounting reporting systems.
4. Ability to produce and analyze production and financial data and prepare reports, statements and projections.
5. Excellent English and Vietnamese written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work well across inter-company teams and simultaneously manage several projects.
7. Ability to lead, participate in and facilitate group projects.
