Budget and Cost Control Executive

I. JOB PURPOSE

- Support the preparation, development, finalization and management of Work Program and Budget (WPB) and associated activities of the Company
- Assist Business Team Leader in monitoring the performance of Company budget and cost control and other associated tasks as required.

II. JOB ACCOUNTABILITY

- Be responsible for planning, preparation, management, cost control and reporting for the company work program and budget.
- Coordinate with other departments for work plan and budget compiling and organize the budget meetings.
- Proactively track and follow up on the budget utilization and provides recommendations to Team Leader for cost control and optimization. Provide independent expert analysis, opinions and best use of budgeted resources to minimize risk to operations.
- Support to implement the cost savings;
- Assist Team leader and Department Manager as necessary.

I. GENERIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

Good Governance: Enforce the implementation of applicable Company procedures and guidelines and affect the compliance to statutory and legislative requirements.

II. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or relevant field strongly preferred.
• Computer literacy (MS office suite if programs) and thorough knowledge in SAP is an advantage
• Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, problem solving and negotiation skills
• Be proficient in English (IELTS 5.5-6.5/ TOIEC 605-750 or equivalents).

Experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Industry
