Bookkeeper

Responsibilities will include general bookkeeping services, such as:
• Accounts payable and receivable;
• Bank reconciliations;
• Payroll preparation; and
• Other ad-hoc administrative duties.
It will also include more experienced tasks, such as:
• PAYG / Superannuation compliance;
• GST, BAS, IAS compliance;
• Quality review processes;
• General ledger reconciliations;
• Preparation up to trial balance /Balance sheet
• Reconciliation of credit cards

• High level of English language competency required.
• Experience working in bookkeeping or accounting with an understanding of the Australian taxation system.
• Min of 3 years bookkeeping experience
• Competent with technology (essential).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Office 365, Teams, Excel, Word, etc).
• Experience using Dropbox
• XERO experience essential (other accounting software experience is also helpful).
• Prioritising skills
• The willingness to learn new skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Receipt-Bank, preferred.
• Bookkeeping / Accounting degree or diploma preferred.
