Beach Haven Suites
Is a collection of 3 bedroom beachfront pool suites in Hoi An. This is a high quality property built to western standards where we take care of everything. The Suites features 4 floors with 10 rooms, a pool and public areas and target high end guests travelling with family. Combining beach, food scene, shopping and cultural heritage, our mission is to make Beach Haven the perfect place for families and friends to experience the best of Hoi An together.
Role Summary
This role is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional to lead a professional property to a high standard, by the beach in the beautiful setting of Hoi An, ranked 5th in top ten cities in Asia by Travel and Leisure’s readers in 2017.
This role is the backbone of the business, we need our manager not just to know how to run a business but also how to take care of people as the manager is also expected to act as a host.
Essential Requirements
A background in Hospitality management with a demonstrated understanding of operations in all hotel departments
The ability to live in Hoi An
Be a great host by making people feel welcome, being attentive to their needs for support
Leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to build and lead teams in Vietnam to achieve business objectives
Excellent communications skills, good English is essential. A demonstrated effort to learn Vietnamese language
Good decision making and judgment skills, problem solving and analytical thinking
Good organisational skills, the ability to think on your feet and prioritise in pressure situations
Have integrity, take responsibility and be accountable
Be attentive to detail, organised, productive and thorough.
Resources
You will have the support of an experienced and professional western management consultancy that will handle, with your advice, the following areas of the business
Accounting and finance
Sales & marketing deep across all channels
Proper hiring and benefit provisions for local staff
Revenue management
Periodic reporting
Desirable requirements
Possesses a first aid qualification
An understanding of general maintenance, mechanical and electrical services

Monthly salary plus agreed and measurable KPI bonuses
Paid in USD or Vietnamese Dong, or split.

Duties and responsibilities
The Manager is responsible for achieving optimal guest satisfaction and a good working environment to attain all set objectives.
Beach Haven is committed to providing guests with a great Hoi An experience, so you are expected to ensure service quality delivery across your team, motivating your team and creating a positive working environment so you all can deliver great hospitality.
You are expected to set the highest standard of presentation and behaviour at all times.
Assist in the recruitment, interviewing and hiring of Beach Haven team members
Identify training needs of your team, schedule and conduct various training sessions as well as on the job coaching
Meet your businesses KPIs, by having a thorough understanding of what they are and creating action plans or solutions on how to achieve them
Ensure that all guest issues are greeted and hosted in a professional and timely manner.
Actively participant in internal consults. Voicing an opinion of where all services can be improved or changed where necessary
Carry out performance reviews, assess critically and deliver praise where warranted. Review and formulate action plans accordingly.
Maintain a strong and efficient two-way communication with the owner’s representative.
Establish and maintain engagement between yourself the Beach Haven team and your guests
Manage the cost, suppliers & logistics involved with the day-to-day running of Beach Haven
