Banking Senior Accountant - 6 Months Contracted Staff.

• Ensure the accurate and timely submission of regulatory reports to the local authorities and periodic reports to Head Office by undertaking financial accounting and control activities
• Review reconciliation of Nostro and Vostro accounts and internal suspense accounts for the Branch.
• Perform efficient checking and filing of accounting vouchers, daily ledgers for the Branch
• Coordinate and control tax declaration and payment and tax reporting for the Branch.
• Providing subject matter expert support and oversight on regulatory changes and reporting impacting upon the Bank.
• Keep up to date with Regulatory developments to ensure the Branch can complete new/changed returns in an accurate and timely manner.
• Support to investigate any financial reporting incidents not only within the department but also in the Branch.
• Support internal and external audits within the department by preparing documentation as required
• Support the Head of Department in financial accounting projects.

• Have solid knowledge of accounting
• Have at least 3 - 5 year experience in Accounting at Foreign banks
• Have strong teamwork spirit
• Have ability to work in high pressure environment
