****** Job Purpose ******
To provide timely and accurate analysis of safety-related data and assist in the production of numerous safety outputs.

****** Primary Duties ******
• Responsible for timely, accurate analysis of data within the safety database and other available sources;
• Responsible for the production of required and requested safety outputs and the provision of decision/change support to operational departments;
• Responsible for the management and development of safety databases and IT systems for the department;
• Production of ad hoc and scheduled safety reports including:
* The monthly Safety Occurrence Summary, Reporting rate, Safety Performance Indicator;
* The monthly Airline Safety Committee;
* The monthly CAAV Safety Report and quarterly CAAV conference;
• Actively participate in, and provide management support to the safety and security committees, strategies and airline safety scorecard;
• Under direction conduct analysis of identified safety, security and quality issues;
• Assist in the preparation of reports, packages and checklists associated with multiple safety and compliance activities;
• Undertake other tasks as directed by the Director SQA.

****** Qualifications and Experience ******
• Highly developed IT skills (IT graduate preferable);
• Strong ability to turn data into useful information through thorough analysis;
• Experience and knowledge in aviation is desirable;
• Working knowledge and application of Safety Management Systems;
• Ability to speak and translate Vietnamese and English;
• Demonstrated database management skills;
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to successfully work in a team environment;
• Demonstrated capability to develop and motivate staff and to support change;
• Well organized with a well-developed attention to detail; and
• Enthusiastic, motivated and a willingness to accept new challenges
