AWS Architect / DevOps (Cloud, .NET, Python)

- Architect
• Help to guide Engineering staff toward best practices and strong documentation
• Provide AWS Architecture oversight, helping with planning, sizing, and project resourcing when needed
• As a technology leader, continue to stay abreast of latest Cloud technologies and industry best practices in order to evangelize and drive innovative solutions and operational efficiencies
• Learn the GTW Application Architecture and underlying technologies stack, and help drive the cloud design and infrastructure plan both short-term and long-term
• Support the product roadmap by consulting with Production Management and Engineering teams for requirements discovery, technical design, implementation and monitoring needs
• Produce high-quality technical designs, and implement in AWS with Security, Scalability, Availability, and Monitoring in mind
• Support deploy, and configure tooling to support continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
• Engage in projects as needed, work collaboratively with other team members, communicate effectively, and contribute to team success
• Collaborate in technical discussions both internally and with external customer teams
• Support a future customer-facing teams with root cause analysis and resolution of escalated technical issues
- Senior Engineer
• Designing and implementing containerized C# applications deployed on both AWS and non AWS infrastructure
• Designing and implementing Lambda functions, leveraging the Amazon API Gateway and other AWS services
• Working with product owners, data scientists and AWS Architects to implement analytics models into the development pipeline

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 5+ years of IT operations, Cloud Operations, or DevOps experience
• 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience, including design, operations, automation, monitoring, security
• AWS Architect must have AWS certifications
• Seasoned solutions architect experienced at designing and implementing cloud-based or cloud-native solutions for Production workloads
• Experience using AWS Cloud Formation, AWS EC2, ECS, VPC, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, and other native services
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Configuration as Code (CaC) tools and best practices
• Hands-on experience leading and mentoring technical teams is valuable
• Excellent communication and organizational skills that stand-up to a fast-paced environment
• Experience with causal inference, applied time series modeling or machine learning forecasting applications.
