1. Summary:
+ Reports to: Equipment Manager
+ Work venue: My Phuoc Plant, Ben Cat Dist., Binh Duong Province, Vietnam
+ Additional support: Transportation provided for you when be invited for interview at the factory
+ Responsibility: The Plant Automation Engineer will use his/her technical expertise to lead manufacturing automation projects from an approach of people, process and systems. Scope of responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing technical expertise on automation projects, training of plant personnel on automation systems, system troubleshooting and maintenance, identification and communication of best practices, and developing solutions to system utilization issues.
2. The job description below is to list out some missions that we are in need of your talent to support Colgate - Palmolive to keep growing even faster in Tooth-brushing making industry:
+ Lead plant automation projects. This includes management of all aspects of the implementation including people, process, and systems.
+ Provide input to major capital projects involving automation to ensure global automation standards and policies are followed.
+ Provide technical leadership in the area of manufacturing automation utilizing:
- Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s)
- SCADA
- SQL Database
+ Provide the technical leadership to implementation teams as needed.
+ Provide the technical expertise to the site to update the configurations of the systems.
+ Provide training and advanced troubleshooting to the site.
+ Provide guidance and training to plant operations to foster utilization.
+ Enforce standards at the site that ensure global consistency of manufacturing automation and integration systems.
+ Establish and maintain close relationships with:
+ Regional Plant Systems Integrator/Manager
+ Plant operations team
+ Plant quality team
+ Plant FP&R team

1. Basic Qualifications:
+ Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering required
+ Minimum of 2 years experience with engineering, supply chain operations and/or IT Supply Chain required
+ Experience in Industrial Automation using Rockwell / Siemens PLC’s or equivalent.
+ Knowledge of Industrial Network Communication protocols (Ethernet, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Profibus)
+ Experience with Wonderware Industrial Automation software (SCADA (InTouch), Historian, Archestra) or an equivalent software required
+ Ability to configure and test plant systems
+ Basic knowledge of manufacturing operations core processes and plant floor equipment and instrumentation
2. Preferred Qualifications (Additional education, experience, skills etc. as assets):
+ Experience in operations management
+ Experience in systems configuration and maintenance
+ Basic knowledge of SAP

+ Relationship Building – critical functional relationships must be established with IT, FP&R, quality and plant operations.

- 13th-month salary plus KPI Bonus
