Asst Finance Manager, Vietnam

Factory Location: Long Hau, Long Hau Industrial Park, Long Hau Commune, Can Giuoc District,
Preference for candidates staying Nha Be district, District 7 and District 4

The Assistant Finance Manager is primarily responsible for providing management support for all accounting activities and management reporting. The post holder also shares in the responsibility for the general finance-related duties and is expected to cover for the Finance Manager in his absence.

Key Result Areas & Responsibilities

Financial Management
• Prepare the financial statements accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist in cash flow management and supervise the financial transactions within and outside the company
• Create a strategic and long term business plan in support to the Finance Manager and the board of managers

Budget Planning and Forecasting
• Assist in the budget preparation and expense management program
• Support in the implementation of budget as designed and approved by management
• Provide accurate financial information for weekly and annual forecasting

General Accounting and Operational Performance
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping
• Liaise directly with clients for credit and collection function
• Communicate and interact with external auditor during the course of audit and annual report finalization.
• Effective Fixed Asset Register management
• Ensure correct allocation of cost to the capital expenditures
• Keep track of all the new trucks for the rental fleet to be on rental rate immediately

Banking and Finance
• Register records of goods imported (RGI) to the bank and initiate remittance to inter-company accounts and other foreign vendors
• Prepare bank reconciliations and inter-company accounts every month

Corporate Governance
• Facilitate compliance reporting required by government agencies
• Review import documents, landed cost, customs duties and taxes, and other applicable charges
• Ensure, adhere, and monitor corporate policies on the security of all company assets

Payables and Receivables
• Maintain acceptable level of accounts receivable and constant coordination with the clients
• Promote partnership with vendors

• Relevant tertiary education in Finance, Accounting or Business Discipline
• CA/CPA qualification preferred
• Self-motivated and team player with excellent communication skills
• Must possess significant computer knowledge and have an expertise in MS Excel.
• Have an eye for analysing the market trends with in-depth knowledge in management reporting
• Good verbal and written English is a must
