Assistant to The Front Desk Manager (Vietnamese National)

We are Friends Travel Vietnam, a boutique Travel Agency making waves in Vietnam’s Tourism industry since 2013. We are an internationally licensed tour operator focussing on creating authentic Vietnamese experiences for our customers. We were founded by Sidney (Dutch) and Thao (Vietnamese) van Meenen with two main missions in mind: Sharing the beauty of Vietnam and her people with the world; and treating our customers like friends and family while we are doing it! And now, we are looking for an individual to groom into our next Front Desk Manager. However, because this is such a specialised position, the position offered will initially be for Assistant to the Front Desk Manager, for the first 6 months, at least.

The Front Desk Manager operates as the central nervous system of Friends Travel Vietnam. As such, you will need to have great organisational skills, with the ability to multitask while also keeping a finger on the pulse of all the other going ons of our business. Sound a bit intimidating right? Don't worry, that's why you’ll spent the first 6 months of your contract receiving training to ensure that you are entirely capable of performing your job. To qualify for this position you need to have three years of experience in Vietnam’s tourism sector, as well as a firm grasp of the english language, both written and spoken. You will also need to be a highly organised and motivated individual, who is always willing to learn.
