Mô tả công việc

Position Overview:

 Assist the Restaurant Manager in his duties. And managing the department in a professional and courteous manner,
while maintaining the company’s rules and procedures.
 Fulfill the requested duties and functions specific to the department to the best of your ability.
 To ensure set standards are met and maintained by all staff

Key Responsibilities:

 To adhere to all fire and safety regulations
 To maintain company standards for hygiene and physical appearance
 Represent the hotel in a positive manner on and off duty
 Follow all regulations and procedures as laid down by the company
 To be fully informed on the La Veranda Resort and it’s services
 To attend training and meetings and briefings as required
 Communicate by following the chain of command (see Report to:)
 To liaise with other departments on related issues
 To complete all given tasks in a timely manner to adhere to operational hours as needed
 To contribute to the total guest satisfaction of the hotel
 Be responsible for serving the guests with kinds of various food and beverages and maintaining a clean and hygienic
restaurant.
 Be responsible for meeting and talking with the guests at all times with helpful and cheerful manner
 Assist in effective recruitment, induction and training program within the department
 Update training manuals for all positions in the department
 Assist in controlling rosters, timesheets and disciplinary information
 To inspect all equipment continuously and keep them well maintained to ensure proper functioning
 To maintain high standard of sanitation and cleanliness
 To report guest incident and lost and found items
 To have complete knowledge of local law
 To have complete knowledge of menu
 Communicate with all staff relevant changes and daily operational needs
 Ensure effective communication within the department and the hotel
 Ensure all operating equipment is handled with due care and curb wastage on supplies
 To manage staff in a fair and just manner
 To supervise and complete further tasks within the department as requested by management
 To make sure all tasks given by his direct superior are accomplished according to the standards of quality and
presentation.
 To inquire about all goods sold in his outlet
 Assist in maximizing profitability of the outlet by increasing turnover & controlling costs.
 Recommends and implements guest service standards that meet the needs of the target market and are in line with
operating concept of the restaurant
 Monitors and analyzes menus and products of competitive restaurants
 Ensure that the Restaurant and staff are prepared for service
 Assists with inventory check of operating of the restaurant
 Handles guest complaints and informs Restaurant manager of the incident
 Performs other duties as assigned by Restaurant Manager
 Push up staff to selling F&B every time when they have chance
 Always up selling the Food & Beverage or promotion to increase the revenue
 Protect our equipments, F&B tools
 Arrange the staff at right time where it need (Le bar, Garden, Pool & beach, serve & clear room service...)
 Check time attendant shift to ensure staff not late at work
 Train the staff about SOP, F&B, efficient in work place
 Statistic guest, inventory F&B tools (Porcelain, cutlery...)

Relations

 Kitchen: Learn new food (new menu, set menu...), order food, coordinate in service food
 House Keeping: Ensure restaurant area in good hygiene condition
 Front Office: Get information (room booking, loyalty card, guest information…), Guest informtion
 Human Resource: Time attendant record, holiday, compensation leave, annual leave..., Employee request.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

- Diploma or degree in hospitality – food & beverage, professional hospitality degree or hospitality management school.
- At least 3 years experience working in the sector and impeccable knowledge of F&B professions.
- Computer literate.
- Fluent in the national language, Business English (and a 3rd language would be a plus)
- Excellent leadership skill in active and dynamic working environment.
