Assistant Production Manager

Responsible for the production and optimization of the CO2 dyeing machines at CleanDye Vietnam - based at Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park, Nha Be District

Technical position within a green factory for fabric dyeing. You will have the opportunity to work and learn in the operational heart of the factory. You will immediately have to contribute to the operation around the CO2 dyeing machines (DyeOx) under the supervision of the Operational Director. Secondly, you will have to do activities and projects in order improve the performance, enhance the versatility and increase the output of these technologically advanced machine. To do this, you will be trained as a process engineer to fully understand the machine, process and production and you will put this knowledge to work in the production environment.

Responsibilities
Your duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Planning of CO2 production batches for the DyeOx machines and good communication with shift-leaders and operators to uphold output of the machine.
• Compliance of operations around CO2 dyeing machine, regarding safety and protocols.
• Learn and understand the CO2 dyeing process and machine functionality.
• Learn and understand how to control and operate the DyeOx machine.
• Learn and understand about quality control of the product.
• Analysis of batch process diagrams and fabric results and understand the relation.
• Transfer your relevant gained knowledge to shift leaders.
• Monitor and report machine performance (output) and machine elements to identify potential improvements and possible non-conformances.
• Communication with engineering to co-ordinate maintenance activities with production.
With more experience, you will have to extend your duties to:
• Set up designs of experiment in order to improve, optimize and diversify the functionality of the machine with regards to consumption, output and quality.
• Improve and test the dyeing process by adjustment of parameters, all in relation to the quality of the production.

• University/Master Diploma in a technical or scientific field.
• Good analytical skills, fast learning abilities and enthusiasm to learn.
• At least 3 years of experience in a production environment.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbally.
• Good MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
• Leadership roles and experience are a positive.
• (High Pressure) Process engineering experience is a positive.
• Experience with CO2 machinery is a positive.
• Experience within the fabric industry is a positive.
