Assistant Director, Pas

Duties may include but not limited to:
 Acting as second head of EVS and direct report to Department Head
 Directing all activities of EVS in deliver cleaning, pest control and waste management service to gaming/mall/retail/F&B/BOH area
 Maintaining good rapport with the work of the other departments to ensure the highest level of efficient service throughout the property
 Inspecting respective areas periodically to ensure high standards of EVS are maintained
 Scheduling and organizing cleaning program and request orders to meet the operation needs
 Monitoring inventory control and ensure sufficient parts and consumable supply
 Leading in-house staff to make sure a smooth and efficient daily operation;
 Monitoring outsourced facilities management vendors to ensure quality services are delivered
 Planning and organizing the due diligence for taking over new venue for documenting defect taking record and standard operation procedure;
 Implementing safety policy and promoting safety awareness to team members;
 Closing monitor department expense and ensuring Opex & Capex budget are met
 Being responsible for accurate and timely reports required by management
 Handling procurement and tendering document in complying company procurement policy
 Striving for economical operation being consistent with the operation cost objectives
 Keeping improvement in current practice and make recommendation on up to date best practice
 Promoting team spirit and handle team member’s disputes
 Researching and creating new and improved procedures by shopping local casinos for standards and aesthetics which would enhance upon the current operation.
 Contributing to a team effort and accomplish related results as required.
 Being able to perform non-office hours duty for ad hoc events/bad weather condition or emergency is required.
 Performing other related duties as required or directed.

Qualifications/Requirements
 A minimum of five (4 - 5) years of commercial cleaning experience in a hospitality setting required.
 A minimum of three (3) years of management experience.
 At least participated in Pre-Opening Projects with mid to large scale of Casino or hotel Development.
 Knowledgeable of environmental services chemical use and safety measures.
 Knowledge of cleaning procedures and chemical use.
 Knowledge of occupational hazards, safe working practices, and safety precautions.
 Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in written format.
 Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
 Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
 Skill in managing budgets.
 Skill in providing leadership to, supervising, training, and evaluating assigned staff.
 Skill in analyzing problems, projecting consequences, identifying solutions, and implementing recommendations.
 Have excellent team collaboration, leadership and problem-solving skills.
 Keeping improvement in current practice and make recommendation on up to date best practice.
 Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
 High School Degree, College or University Degree in related field preferred, from an accredited institution, and/ or equivalent work experience.
 Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff and the general public.
