General Purpose of the Position
Under the guidance of the Color and Material Manager support and improve processes for color development, testing and supplier management. Improve the quality and reliability of colors in mass production and work close together with the Development Department. Decrease waste of materials, work on lean concepts and innovations for all areas color is involved.
Job Responsibilities/duties
• Assist Color and Material Manager as a contact for color related issues during development, sampling and mass production stage
• Manage and support the color development and testing team
• Planning of color testing: Be the key contact to all related departments (Production, Production Planning, Development, Automation)
• Coordination and follow-up with Development team of framas for all color related topics
• Follow-up color related downtimes and quality issues in mass production according to PDCA principle.
• Follow-up and improvement of Color Database
• Storage and organization of samples, swatches, pantones
• Planning and Control of daily recycle material. Support Lean team to implement a new Kanban system
• Support and follow-up on mixing team
• Control and organization of stock level of overproduced mixed materials in mass production.
• Support implementing a color measurement system

Yêu cầu ứng viên
• Degree in Engineering Industrial Engineering or Chemistry, preferred candidates with polymer or material studies and/or professional background
• Able to work independent and self-confident, quick learner and open minded for new ideas and concepts
• Experience in color making and mixing facilities
• Experience in plastic manufacturing environment
• Knowledge about color and plastics
• Office computer skills
• Good English skills
• Management skills with focus on Project and Lean Management
• Quality Management knowledge is a plus
