Assistance Purchasing Manager

Utilize your exceptional communication and analytical skills as an Associate Purchasing Manager for assigned division at Medline, assist the Purchasing Management team with sourcing of assigned product line. We are seeking a dynamic, creative and hard-working professional with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, large corporate environment.

** CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: List the essential job responsibilities in descending order of importance.
1. Identify and develop suppliers for Medline products.
2. Help to fulfill the sample delivery and make relative records.
3. Work with vendor to get a specific sample finish date and whole project schedule.
4. Price calculation and negotiation.
5. Follow up with vendors on sample status and push factories to an earlier finish date.
6. Always try best to negotiate with vendor (price, exclusivity, term of payment, etc.) and always seal a better deal for Medline Industries, Inc.
7. Edit and manage vendors price list by excel tools. Review various prices with purchasing manager and identify new project plans.
8. Travel with US corporate colleague and manage the itinerary.
9. Interpret in the meeting and help product manager negotiate price in the meeting.
10. Assists the department in achieving purchasing tasks company issued.
11. Use different excel tools to edit, manage price lists and other Excel files in order to maintain good numbers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: List minimum education, certification, years of experience, etc. which are required to perform the job.

Bachelor’s Degree.
** Relevant Work Experience
Have working experience in procurement function will be a plus.
Textile background is of plus.
** Additional
Computer Skills: Proficient at Office software like Word, Excel, PPT
Travel Frequency: Frequent travel is required. Able to travel in Asia and the United States.

- Have working experience in procurement function will be a plus.

-Detail-oriented and good patience are required. Need to handle various details and follow up with different vendors.
