ASIC Compliance ( Australian Based Company; Attractive Benefits)

ROLE DESCRIPTION
AS White is currently looking for a Compliance Officer to coordinate the Australian Securities & Investment Commission (ASIC) requirements for an Australian client in a growing team in Vietnam. You will be working under the Australian Tax Manager in Vietnam with a core focus on the ASIC Compliance tasks, while also closely working with the team in Australia. This is an
opportunity to work with a large, successful and reputable chartered accounting firm in Australia with an outstanding team culture.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role would suit someone who is experienced in ASIC compliance and administration/client support who is highly organised, detail oriented, personable and with an aptitude for technology.
You will be the go-to person in Vietnam for the firm’s ASIC compliance related matters, with responsibilities including:

• Taking ownership of ASIC related compliance tasks
• Setting up clients & updating details in CAS; ATO Portal & database
• Identifying and correcting all anomalies and client changes
• Sharing and saving ASIC returns onto system
• Reviewing and processing ASIC Invoice Statement; Annual Company Statement and Solvency Resolution and preparing invoices for clients
• Processing ASIC comparison reports and relevant documentation required for client changes
• Coordinating and delegating the reminders of the ASIC documents for returns
• General administrative tasks and database maintenance

It is essential that you have:
• Minimum 2 years in admin/compliance role or similar, working with Australian clients
• Strong exposure to dealing with ASIC compliance matters
• Good working knowledge of CAS 360 (highly desirable)
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Strong technical and analytical competence with high attention to detail
• A can-do attitude and a proactive and adaptable approach to tasks
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Good inter-personal skills, to be able to build rapport with taxing authorities
