The job holder will support the overall purchasing plan and strategy by conducting relevant analysis on the global and local supply and demand of raw materials, mostly agricultural commodity products used in compound animal feed. The role will cover some important raw materials in Vietnam, Myanmar, and Indonesia.
1- RESEARCH
• Conduct desk research on supply and demand related information on the company’s interested raw material, utilizing available public and subscribed data, subscribed data as well as seeking for new source of data and market reports
• Stay up-to-date with the current commodity markets and global macroeconomics news, and inform the Asia purchase team on market trends, covering Vietnam, Myanmar, and Indonesia
• Gather market information and work alongside with purchasers to analyse and understand local market situation and competitor position.
• Support in building, maintaining, and managing data warehouse for the purchase department
2- ANALYSIS
• Explore and analyse trade data to understand the flow of agricultural raw materials
• Analyse and assess market situations of raw materials through developing and maintaining local supply and demand analysis
• Support in building, maintaining, and managing data warehouse for the use of the purchase department
• Deploy and analyse sales and raw material forecast data, supporting effective raw material planning.
3- REPORTING
• Take responsibility for weekly purchase performance reporting and price list, as well as ad-hoc reporting on position, raw material costs etc

Yêu cầu ứng viên
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, International Trade and/or Business Administration
• 1-2 years of experience in analyst role, preferable in agricultural commodity field. Working knowledge of purchasing/procurement is preferred.
• Fluency in English
• Strong logical thinking and critical thinking ability
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel. Practical knowledge in VBA and Power BI is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize information from diverse sources and present findings clearly and concisely
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Analytical mindset with business acumen
• 1-2 years of experience in analyst role, preferable in agricultural commodity field. Working knowledge of purchasing/procurement is preferred.
