Area Automation Lead

Area Automation Lead report to Area Continuous Improvement Manager and manage the automation team across 3 countries (Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar) to ensure the target is achieved.

- Develop team member to enhance their capability via personal development plan.
- Connect with CEN, Region or other areas to study and replicate automation tools/macro / platform that are helpful for the operations process and management.
- Performs root cause analysis for common/complex errors reported and works towards finding suitable workarounds.
- Identifying performance improvement initiatives for the assigned process.
-. Makes recommendations to improve processes and Automate opportunities.
- Escalates difficult issues to responsible party(ies) (SME/Vendor).
- For Internal Process Support: Delivers effective, efficient, and accurate support on Process Improvement and OPEX, People Engagement, Performance Management.
- End to End Service Quality, Productivity and Process Capability through business practices, process and technology changes.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to deliver effective and efficient result.
- Taking responsibility for data collection, analysis and reporting.
- Addressing critical issues and offering solutions for reliable and error free service
- Creating/maintaining macro driven solutions for automation of tasks.
- Streamlining customer reporting.
- Creating reporting standardization.
- Work with stakeholders to outline the specific data needs for each business method analysis project.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
- Functional know-how in air, ocean freight, VAS and Supply chain management.
- Ability to analyze problems, determine & capture facts and determine solutions to resolve the issues.
- Adhoc Requirement.

Mandatory:
- Software IT background (VBA, VB, cloud service, Python, VB.NET, Microsoft SQL Server…)
- Good communication in English (writing, listening and speaking)
- Expertise is required for the application of practical methods and techniques, work procedures and processes

Preferable to:
- Experienced in team management, stakeholder management
- Passion for service delivery & responsiveness – and for identifying how to constantly improve
- Focus on result and process orientated mid-set
- Conveys a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure, persists despite obstacles and opposition
- Well organized when working under pressure
- Able to manage cross-functional interfaces
- Independent working and critical thinking skill
- Good at communication (verbal, written listening and presentation) skills required
- Strong analytical skills (analyzing referrals, creative thinking)
