Application Engineer

1. Job Details
- You will be Radiant Vision System’s Applications Engineer. In this role, you will be the technical interface with customers in the Research and Development and Manufacturing space, as well as the key interface to Radiant Vision System U.S. based R&D team. You will be providing service and light repair, problem solving, demonstration, specification and installation of Radiant Vision System’s software and hardware systems for measuring light and color along with training the end customers. This position requires both strong technical skills as well as excellent communication and project management skills. Familiarity with practical and theoretical aspects of light measurement is a plus. Knowledge of elementary electrical engineering principles, as well as software control of scientific hardware is essential. Travel domestically and internationally will be required to interface with customers, implement applications and support and train customers.

1. Degree
- Bachelor(Engineering, physics, optical... etc)

2. Experience
- A year of experience is mandatory.
- Experience with vision system algorithm & inspection s/w development is a plus
- Experience with measurement instrumentation
- Experience in optical engineering desirable, especially light and color measurement techniques, along with experience with image processing techniques and software, computer programming for scientific applications
- Mechanical design experience or other related industry experience a plus

3. Skills/Licenses
- Both strong analytical and execution skills
- Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and organizational skills
- Verbal and written communication skills; English and Vietnamese
- A proven record of accomplishment with excellent references is plus
- Experience with scientific light and color measurement instruments a plus
- Commitment to customer satisfaction with a cooperative and friendly demeanor. Applicant should be able to interface equally well with customers, sales staff product development engineers, as well as production managers in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be a structured and organized self-starter with the bandwidth to work across multiple tasks and competencies at a given time.
- Entrepreneurial instinct and skillset; interest and ability to engage hands-on with customers and strategy execution
- Will display and operate in a way that never compromises ethics and integrity
