Appointment: Application and Product Development Engineer For Electronics Material Solutions Division

Responsibilities
• Identify, research, and validate application development opportunities in alignment with the electronics material solution & fluid business unit strategy;
• Develop and Commercialize new products with leading product development projects with both coordinating with internal/external technical specialists as required to meet project requirements and collaborating with business team.
• The APDE will collaborate with APAC Labs for New Product Development and accurately and effectively manage communications and deliverables between the customer, R&D and Product Management for all assigned projects.
• The APDE needs to understand the performance of the product and has to actively assist Sales team in explaining it to customers and in discovering its value for the customer (FBP – Feature, Benefit and Profit).
• Work directly with customers to clarify technical and commercial requirements for new applications and suggest suitable products.
• Ensure all customer complaints are resolved effectively and efficiently.
• Develop suitable process and/or application conditions and product properties to meet application development and end-user requirements.

• Master degree in Physic, Polymer, or Chemical Engineering background required, or higher in minimum of 3-5 years strong working experience in relevant engineering field, and very proactive person attitude for collaboration productivity and team work
• Technical experience of polymer synthesis and processing, special coating/cleaning in Electronic Industries is considered a plus.
• Experience in an electronic OEM and/or Key Account business role and ability to obtain results working with a team in a matrix organization
• Possesses good analytical, communication, project management skills and presentation skills
• Good communication in local language and English; Good command of Korean language is an advantage
• Hands-on, self-driven, innovative and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Sense of business acumen to support and drive the business development
• Develops proficiency within assigned projects utilizing appropriate methods, practices and concepts
• Acquires general knowledge and understanding of the organization, the product line and the customer base.
• Very good at providing/conduct training to customers and/or business teams.
• Very good connection and networking with local expert in converters and electronics community.
