Apparel Quality Assurance Supervisor

SUMMARY
• The successful candidate will be capable of managing a team of QA Inspectors
• This position requires extensive knowledge of sewn garment quality requirements.
• Must be bilingual English and Vietnamese.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic duties are the following, while other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Perfect attendance is an essential function of this job. Overtime hours are expected if they are necessary.
• Manage and lead a team of QA inspectors on site in garment factories.
• Position requires visually inspecting garment quality in-line and throughout the process, measuring garments, and recording results against our quality standards and specifications in a fast- paced environment.
• Able to successfully work and communicate with 3rd party audit firms
• Must be able to read and comprehend garment tech packs written in English
• Must be able to manage, review and provide feedback on samples and start up production.
• Must be able to understand, complete and report back audits to the US office.
• Must be able to effectively manage special projects as needed
• Must be able to communicate well both in writing and orally, with factory staff as well as the US office
• Some local travel between factories may be required.

• 10 Years + experience in a high fashion multi-fabrication sewn products cut, sew, pack and ship factory environment
• Degreed or Certified in a Textiles or Apparel related field
• Computer skills needed are Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Basic math skills are necessary.
