WORK LOCATION: 33 Le Trung Nghia, Ward 12, Tan Binh District, HCMC, Vietnam
DIRECTLY REPORTING TO: Director - Indotrek
WORKING HOURS: 8.30am to 5.30pm from Monday – Friday and 4 hours on Saturday (44 hrs per week) plus overtime as required
EFFECTIVE DATE: Aug 2019
PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF ROLE
Ensure a personal service is offered to all wholesale, B2C and Tour Operator partners in order to meet and exceed their expectations. Ensure that the sales process is accurately adhered to (per Sub Departmental SOPs), sales opportunities are maximized with follow up and to resolve any problems to meet and exceed sales revenue and gross profit targets. Work as part of a small dedicated team.
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
Sales and Customer Service:
• Understand the partner’s requests and present options to meet their needs.
• Identify and take action to up-sell and promote all INDOTREK destinations, Experiences and SIC tour products.
• Take ownership of and monitor individual sales process and follow up with partners to increase booking conversion.
• Respond to partner or Tour Operator requests for up to 70% of each day.
• Work with our supplier network to coordinate bookings
• Negotiate fees and changes with agents (where necessary) to gain agreement.
• Send final confirmation and any travel documents or vouchers to agents.
• Report any errors regarding information on Tour Plan to Systems Support and Data Entry teams.
• Prepare invoices and work with accounting in order to send invoices before deadline per month.
• Manage allocated accounts where assigned.
• Work with Indotrek Brand Manager, operations or reservations to help solve problems for clients on the ground when required.
• Work with Contracting teams to obtain special series rates for Groups where required
• Maintain relationships with wholesale partners and Tour Operators by ensuring personal service is optimized.
• Meet with representatives from the account or FAM trips if they are visiting to Head office
Continuous Improvement:
• Attend regular training sessions/courses to keep up to date with both product and procedures (those requested by Indotrek Brand Manager are mandatory).
• Keep others informed by sharing information, in particular the Indotrek Brand Manager.
• Inform product department/operations of any product feedback.
• Liaison with Product and Reservations departments to ensure feasibility of options.

QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE
• Graduate in Tourism, Hospitality, Economics or Business preferred
• Knowledge of tourism, geography, foreign cultures
• Knowledge of Adventure travel is preferred
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 1 year in Travel Sales or Sales of Services or 2 years’ experience as a Tour Operator within the region
• Personal travel within the region
SKILLS
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Thorough understanding of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
• Knowledge of Tour Plan is preferable
