DIRECTLY REPORTING TO: Director of Indotrek
PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF ROLE
Adventure Sales Executive is the role to ensure the sales process which is accurately adhered to (per Sub Departmental SOPs), sales opportunities are maximized with follow up and resolve any problems to meet and exceed sales revenue and gross profit targets.
Be flexible in your approach to work and assist in Indotrek development as a whole with guidance from Director of Indotrek. Good at multi-tasking and managing many small projects at the same time.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales:
• Understand all agent or direct booking requests and present options to meet their needs.
• Identify and take action to up-sell and promote all INDOTREK destinations.
• Negotiate fees and changes with agents and suppliers (where necessary) to gain agreement.
• Take ownership of and monitor each individual sales process and follow up with the inquirer to increase booking conversion.
• Send final confirmation and any travel documents or vouchers to agents.
• Prepare monthly invoices and send to accounting in order to send invoices before deadline per month.
• Manage allocated accounts where assigned.
• Coordinate and work with supplier, operations and Brand Manager to help solve problems for clients on the ground when required.
Product Supporting:
• Support Brand Manager with Product development when required.
• Report any errors regarding information on Tourplan system.
• Be flexible in your approach to work and be able to assist the Brand Manager with various tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE:
• Graduate in Tourism, Hospitality, Economics or Business preferred
• Knowledge of tourism, geography, foreign cultures
• Preferable knowledge of Adventure tourism
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 1 year in Travel Sales or Sales of Services or 2 years’ experience as a Tour Guide within the region
• Personal travel within the region
SKILLS:
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Thorough understanding of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc)
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Flexibility to work overtime
• Ability to work under pressure
• Graduate in Tourism, Hospitality, Economics or Business preferred
• Knowledge of tourism, geography, foreign cultures
