Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Leader (NPI Leader)

The New Product Introduction (NPI) Leader demonstrates strong & effective leadership in communicating business goals, programs & processes. In this role you will utilize your experience & expertise to develop new product by integrating industrial requirements in design, proposing optimizations, project managing FPQ (First Piece Qualification) to solve problems to start implementation of new product, develop & execute advanced process objectives to prepare short-term & some long-term NPI
Commercial role
Confidential & early contact with customers looking new opportunities for the company
Contract management, discussion of contracts, frame agreement.
Project management (Cost/ schedule)

Technical Role
For Current Product Improvement in a business segment:
Provide leadership & technical direction to operation team & design team to improve processes
Develop concepts of advanced processes
Facilitate communication of technical and business information between organizations & within work group with a deep knowledge of factory capacity, from facility to equipment

For New Product Introduction in a business segment:
Ensure contact with customers to develop business opportunities & set contract framework for NPI
Provide support, counsel & provide recommendations to design team to develop new product economically
Develop NPI functional team goals within the framework of business segment to reach technical & financial targets
Project manage NPI projects & define roles and responsibilities for assigned personnel
Maintain broad awareness of efforts within group to assure technical quality excellence, timely completion of work & reviews,appropriate use of resources, and responsiveness to customer / program needs.
Communicate with management on technical, organizational,resource & personnel issues.
Conduct performance appraisals & contribute to salary planning by insights and feedback to manager

For TCP projects:
Ensure company compliance initiatives, develop TCP projects with the operation team and identify training requirements within work group
Promote professional growth through timely performance feedback, coaching and counseling

Qualifications/Requirements:
Ideal Master degree, minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 8 to 10 years of engineering experience)
At least 4 additional years of experience in a program or project leadership role within an engineering environment
