Job Purpose:
Supports the Corporate Actuarial Manager to ensure that actuarial reports and valuation processes are in line with sound actuarial principles and standards, statutory requirements and meet department’s goals and objectives.

Accountability:
1. Provide high quality actuarial reports and ensure all results are thoroughly checked for accuracy and consistency.
2. Active analysis of results, with reporting of known errors, omissions or anomalies.
3. Maintenance of adequate documentation of working process, working tools and integrity of those.

Key responsibilities:
1. Perform periodic actuarial valuations and assist in the maintenance and development of the valuation system. Ensure any changes are fully documented.
2. Conduct regular financial reports including those for the local regulator, regional office and internal management team.
3. Provide support to Solvency 2/Ecap and other corporate actuarial projects.
4. Responsible for European Embedded Value, IFRS and Statutory Valuation, Risk analyses and New Business Profit reports.
5. Perform periodic experience study analyses, including mortality, morbidity, persistence and expenses.
6. Perform sources of earning analysis for IFRS.
7. Assist in business planning process.
8. Carry out a wide variety of ad-hoc actuarial investigations, as required from time-to-time, ensuring all results are thoroughly checked for accuracy and consistency.
9. Actively study towards a recognized actuarial qualification.
10. Provide support to more junior actuarial students.
11. Others: to be assigned by the Line manager or Company’s management (if any)

Qualification:
- Mandatory: A good university degree in a subject with significant exposure to actuarial, finance, mathematics and/or statistics
- Advantage: Passed some actuarial exams.

Experiences:
- Advantage: 1-3 years of relevant actuarial experience.

Knowledge and skill set:
- Mandatory:
1. Good command of written and spoken English
2. Good analytical skill
3. Knowledge of Excel, MS Word, Access and database packages

- Advantage:
1. Knowledge of basic actuarial techniques and terminology
2. Experience in Actuarial CF model (Prophet is preferable)
