Department / Location: Finance
Direct Line Reporting: Accounting and Tax Manager
Purpose of the position
• To implement the company credit policy
• Ensures timely collections of receivables from customers
• Ensures timely dispatch of customer invoices
Key Tasks
Credit control
• Ensure adherence to company credit policy.
• Reviews local customer application for credit line and make proper recommendation.
• Reviews customer credit limit regularly.
• Coordinate and review with Operations and Sales any customer excess over credit limit.
Receivables Accounting
• Clearing and posting of customer payments
• Control of Local outgoing invoice and tax invoice
• Send Statement of Account to customers on regular basis as per company dunning procedures.
• Regular reconciliation of receivables accounts with customers
• Leas with Sales and Operations on customer billing disputes
Decision Making Authority
• Recommends extension of credit facility to customers.
