Accounting Supervisor (Assistant Accounting Manager)

- Responsible for general ledger maintenance, monthly financial closing i.e. journal entries & payroll booking , accounts analysis and reconciliation
- Timely and accurate financial reporting monthly for management to review before and after close
- Reviews staff's work papers and account reconciliation for accuracy and timeliness
- Preparation of tax schedules (Monthly , quarterly & yearly )
- Support any internal, external, and client audit needs
- Closely work with Financial site to manage closing and reporting and do some necessary changes in accounting system
- To supervise daily operations of the Accounting Department via working and discussing to resolve workload and technical issues , recommends changes as necessary
- Assists team to maintain scheduled completion dates
- Maintains cooperative working with other departments, customers , outside agencies and Tax office
- To keep management informed regarding key operating issues affecting the department, suggest and develop process improvements
- Provide training and coaching for Accounting Staffs
- Provide weekly, monthly, yearly report to Chief Accountant /Finance management

- Proven work experience as an Accounting Supervisor or general accounting. Working for Logistic/freight forwarding company is preferred
- Familiarity with Financial Statement and the month end close process
- Strong understanding in general accountant roles.
- Skill in supervision, coordinating staff and delegating tasks
- Knowledge of principles and practices of accounting
- Challenge & passion with process improvement
